On Monday, March 22, 2010, 23-year-old Shane Ryan Donahue and his friend Timothy Hickerson were celebrating a $5,000 cash payday for installing ceiling tiles at a local business in Nokesville, a small town in Prince William County, Virginia. They stopped at Shane’s parents’ house, before leaving in a utility box truck for his own home around 3:45pm. Shane Donahue was never seen or heard from again. He did not own a car, and his cell phone and bank account have not been used since his disappearance. Though it doesn’t take the Hardy Boys to figure out what happened, Timothy Hickerson was never arrested, despite remaining a person of interest. Hickerson was later convicted of breaking into two gun stores and sentenced to four years in prison.
